Come All, Create!
We believe everyone has the spark of creativity just waiting to ignite! But, maybe you don’t feel artistic? Even great artists don’t feel “artistic” from time to time. So create because it is good for your brain, or your heart, or just because YOU WANT TO! When you sign up for one of the events below, know that we’re here to support you! Contact us and let us know how we can make your experience more accessible or inclusive at info@art-equals.org

Green Art Hive
Go Au Naturel! The Green Art Hive focuses on connecting with the natural world. Whether you paint landscapes, plant fairy gardens, or create with natural materials, we support your earthy explorations. We also support sustainable art practices, both using materials and making creations that are Earth-friendly.
Featured Project for this Month: Cardboard Challenge
Your challenge is to take this everyday material and transform it into something unexpected. Will you…
Build a sculpture or wearable piece? Construct a tiny house, cityscape, or dream structure? Use it as a canvas for painting, drawing, or collage? Combine it with natural or recycled materials to give it new life?
Cardboard is often seen as temporary — but in your hands, it can become lasting art, a playful experiment, or even a mindful exploration of shape and texture.
How can you turn something ordinary into something extraordinary?

Come with curiosity and a willingness to look deep within. Leave with insight, inspiration, and a card (or two) that speaks directly to your soul.
All supplies and images will be provided.
Cost for Workshop is based on a sliding scale.

Meet Your Facilitator:
LeeAnn Foltz trained as a Facilitator in March 2020 and also serves the SoulCollage® community as a Community Outreach Coordinator.
A life-long creative spirit, she came to the practice of SoulCollage® through her certification as a Spiritual Companion at the Haden Institute in Asheville, NC. She also holds a master’s degree in art history and a Law Degree from the University of South Carolina. An avid learner and mystic, her encounter with the works of Wassily Kandinsky in high school sparked an unending passion for the wordless way that color, form, and energy speak to us and through us with images, symbols and archetypes.
When not working in her corporate role as a Director of Compliance for a vision company, LeeAnn loves to travel far and wide to new places, to take long walks with her labs and husband on the beach, and to play with her watercolors, sketch pad and markers on her porch.
You can learn more about LeeAnn's creative explorations and SoulCollage® offerings here.

You can also include those UFOs (Un Finished Objects) that may inspire someone else. Or offer up some of your old creations to make room for new ones.
If you’ve got a lot to give to the swap, bring your items to the Art Equals studio during regular business hours the week before the event or make an appointment to drop them off. We will sort them and have everything ready to go the day of the event. If you just have a few items, you can come at 11:30 on the day of the event and sort your own items.
Bring a bag or box and show up on March 24th and be ready to browse all the creative goodies. Items will be sorted into general categories such as paper, fabric, color, tools, etc. to make it easier to find what your looking for. Any remaining items at the end of the day will be donated or recycled.
