New for the summer months, the Family Art Hive welcomes all those folks you call “family” whether they are the ones you live with or the ones who help you feel at home. Create together with group projects and challenges. Recommended for ages 5+. Younger ones are welcome to come with the supervision of a guardian, but are studio has lots of small items and tools which could be tempting to small hands and mouths. Please bring toys and activities for little ones if possible.

Featured Activity: Collective Weaving

Work together to create a colorful representation of all those best parts of your “family” group. Even if you come solo, you can explore the different aspects of those who influenced who you are today in a weaving representing the collective of characteristics in your life.

All types of creative projects are welcome at each of our Art Hives! Always feel free to bring something you’re working on, or use the materials in our studio to make something new. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to accommodate your creative journey.
