Featured Activity: Floating Poetry

In honor of National Poetry Month let’s exercise those creative muscles for meter and verse by exploring a completely random and relaxing way to engage with poetry and paper making. Whether you love to write or the idea of poetry brings back anxious moments from High School English, we guarantee a supportive and no judgement experience with this form of poetry. By dropping cut-out words into a slurry of paper pulp, you’ll pull a piece of paper with words embedded. Whether this becomes your wild poem statement or the beginnings of deeper exploration, you’ll have a handmade piece of paper to enjoy and share.

All types of creative projects are welcome at each of our Art Hives! Always feel free to bring something you’re working on, or use the materials in our studio to make something new. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to accommodate your creative journey.
