The Art Equals Hive is a community powered space that invites teens of all abilities and backgrounds to create in a supportive , inclusive, and affirming space. Whether you bring your own project or engage in our featured activities, you’ll have the creative freedom to explore and be encouraged to develop your own creative practice. We believe that creating is an important part of overall health and we promote an encouraging space to connect, heal, and grow.

If you’ve ever had those moments where your thoughts are racing and you can’t turn them off, playing with some wet watercolor can help to ground your thoughts and bring you into the present moment. We’ll show you a few techniques that can help to calm your mind and get you in that creative flow.
