This has been a creative tradition since the spark for Art Equals began in 2020. Join us for a community potluck, drumming, poetry, and of course the main event - making lanterns . Making lanterns is our way to embrace the season of darkness with it’s opportunities for rest and creative incubation. Warm your winter nest with a lantern made from luminous soft paper decorated with your own unique symbols and color palette. Bring a favorite winter dish to share and please let us know your coming, so we have enough materials for everyone.
