Start Small for Big Inspirations

What if you could start each week with a small success?

Mondays can be tough, especially when you’re coming off of a busy weekend and heading into a fully loaded schedule.

So, why not be a little creative and gain some motivation through a tiny victory?

Start with something small. Take ten minutes and a single square inch of paper and doodle – a tiny tree, a little house, a small-ish sunshine! Draw something that will bring a smile to your face, no matter how silly it looks.

Ok, now you’ve achieved a little success, and you’re ready to tackle those bigger items on the list.

The best part is…when you hit a roadblock or feel that sense of failure start creeping in, you can grab that little piece of artwork to remind yourself that you can do it. It’s like a visual pep talk everytime you look at it.

Starting next month we will be hosting Mini Mondays, the first and third Mondays of the month at the studio from 11:30am -1:30pm. Bring your lunch and your pencil to come make something truly tiny and adorable. We’ll have small canvases and tiny pieces of paper on hand to create small books and little masterpieces.

You can do it all in as little time as you need! And of course, we’ll be there to support those creative endeavors all the way!
